This quote is still dynamite
"I must have made the acquaintance of Satan and Shylock at about the same time, for the two characters were long associated in my mind. I remember that I was sorry for them. I felt vaguely that they could not be good even if they wished to, because no one seemed willing to help them or to give them a fair chance. Even now I cannot find it in my heart to condemn them utterly. There are moments that I feel that the Shylocks, the Judases, and even the Devil, are broken spokes in the great wheel of good which shall in due time be made whole."

-Helen Keller.

Ah religeon. I find myself forever at odds with it. I'm cursed to wander and struggle with gods, I long for one, but can never currender myself. I fall for agod and a religeon, study fervenlty and it stabs again and again that religeon is flawed. I came to the peersonal conclusion that religeons are imperfect, the gods they reperesent are imperfect and by that at odds with their very definitio. So I live my life believing that gods and religeons are created by humans, humans being flawed, and nothing created by humanity can ever achieve perfection. My gods are dead, but I have respect for those who are religous. Every religeon has it's thorns that I couldn't overcome. I've come to know so many religeons. I think I keep spelling 'religeon' wrong. Buthere's the ongoing list:
Islam: Convert everyone or kill them? Small part but it's still in the Holy Qur'an
Christianity: God is bipolar in the old testament he's angry and bitter, New testament he loves everybody.
Hinduism: Two words: caste system.
Wicca: Magick?
Shamanism: Actually the religeon that I have teh least qualms about. I just couldn't give my free will and autonmity up.
Buddhism: I left in search of a god. Which failed epically.
